Day 1: Singapore - Taipei     (MEAL ON BOARD)
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport. Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Taipei, capital city of Taiwan. Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, you will be welcome by our guide. Next, visit Yangmingshan National Park where Yangming Lake, Lotus Pool and the Flower Clock are the favorite spots in this National Park. And it's one of the most important places for admiring the beauty of flower because of the blooming season. Being so accessible and close to Taipei City, the park attracts a very large number of visitors every year. In the evening, visit Shihlin Night Market, a Great place of local handicrafts, clothes, toys, tasty local snack & souvenirs.

Day 2: Taipei - Yilan     (BREAKFAST/DINNER)
After breakfast, we will proceed to Martyr’s Shrine to view an elaborate and spectacular hourly ceremony of change-of-guards duty. Then we will visit Shilin Presidential Residence. It’s the former home of the last President Chang Kai-Shek. The expansive and elegant garden here has a romantic European feel, with rose beds and tree lined paths. In the afternoon, we will visit Chiufen, the filming site of 'City of Sadness”. The traditional way of life still exists there, and is reminiscent with the aura of an old mining town. Don’t miss the chance to try some famous local dishes such as Taro and Sweet Potato Ball etc. *Lunch at own expense in Chiufen. Next, we will pass by Nanya. Nanya is the northern gateway to the Northeast Coast National Scenic Area. From here on, you’ll no longer see chimneys everywhere or buildings surrounding you. What you will find are rising mountain peaks, large expanses of ocean, unique erosion landforms created by the interaction of mountain and water, and finally, serene fishing villages and simple towns. Lastly, we will visit Shangri-La Leisure Farm. You will have the chance to play traditional games and visit the farm to see exactly how fruit trees are planted and groomed in this farm set in Yilan splendor. At night, we will try lighting paper lanterns, making of rice ball (Tang-Yuan) and spinning tops - hands-on activities reminiscent of a Taiwan from the 1960s! We will also be staying at a new wing of Shangri-La Leisure Farm which was only completed last year. These brand new rooms guarantee guests a spectacular view of the surrounding Dayuan Mountain, plains and valleys, complementing the picturesque landscape with a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Day 3: Yilan - Take Express Train to Hualien - Taitung    (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, we will visit Taroko National Park. The fourth National Park, Taroko Gorge is regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful geographical landscape. Next, we will visit Chang Chuen Temple. It is situated on the valley with a breathtaking view. Later, make a short stop at the Linzi & Tea Center. Then we will visit Linzi…. Accommodation: 5* Papago International Resort or similar class. 

Day 4: Taitung - Kenting   (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

After breakfast, we will visit Hengchun's paying fire. Hengchun's paying fire's (Kenting pay fire) is located outside of the town east door in Hengchun. It is a kind of special mire volcano compound and one of the wonders of it is that the natural gas emitted from underground will fuel small fires that burn continuously around the area. After lunch, we will proceed to Checheng Fuan Temple. It is one of largest land in Taiwan Province. After dinner, we will proceed to Kenting Market Street. It is a perfect place to look for some good and cheap clothing deals and to shop until late in the evening.

Day 5: Kenting - Kaohsiung (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast, we visit Fo Guang Shan which is the center of Buddhism in southern Taiwan. Inside, there is a magnificent view where hundreds of gilded Buddha images stand in line, one of the wondrous attractions of the monastery. After which, we will proceed to Mei Non Hakka Village. You will have the chance to see traditional Hakka Handicrafts, such as hand-made umbrellas, etc. You can also pay to taste some Hakka traditional food, such as Ban Tiao, Ice block and Le Tea. Lastly, proceed to Dream Shopping Mall. It is a shoppers' delight as it is Asia's biggest shopping mall. Apart from exquisite shopping, you can enjoy open-air performances. It is definitely an experience similar to New York's Fifth Avenue. You can also hop on to the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel (at own expense) for an interesting ride. At night, we will visit Leo Ho Night Market. It is the famous night market in Kaohsiung where you can try the delicious local food on your own, and enjoy shopping for low-priced clothes or souvenirs. Accommodation: 5* Garden Villa or similar class.  

Day 6: Kaohsiung - Nantou  - Taichung     (BREAKFAST/ LUNCH)
In the morning, visit the largest lake in Taiwan - Sun Moon Lake. The island has a northern part that looks like a sun, and a Southern part that looks like a moon. The tranquil lakes bounce light off its water, offering poetic and exquisite sceneries all year round. You will also get to enjoy taking a short cruise around the lake (Subjected to weather conditions.) Next, visit the nearby Wen Wu Temple. This is the temple set up to enshrine and worship Confucius, Guan Gong and Yue Fei. In the afternoon, we will visit Dajia Zhenlan Temple. The temple with the statue of Mazu has more than five hundred years of history. There are hundreds of believers following the pilgrimage, and there are many celebrations for welcoming Mazu in every temple. In the evening, visit Fong Jia Night Market. This is the night market which is located near the Feng Chia University. The low-priced clothes are not the only attractive part of this market, the wide range of local food available is also a plus point. Here you could try some traditional food for dinner at your own expenses. Accommodation: 4* The Splendor Studios or similar class.

Day 7: Taichung - Hshinchu - Taipei     (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

After breakfast, we will visit Nei One Old Street to experience the Hakka old life style. You may want to taste some Hakka traditional small dishes. (*Own Expenses). Next, we will visit National Palace Museum; with the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, spanning nearly 5,000 years of Chinese history. After wards, we will proceed to Handicraft Centre. Then, we will visit Taipei 101; one of the Taipei’s tallest skyscraper for more shopping and dinning. (Observatory at own expense). In the evening, we will visit Tonghua Street Night Market. You may shop and eat at the same time. There are plenty of groceries sold on Linjiang Street. You may also wish to visit Jilong Road or Tonghua Road which are just nearby. Accommodation: 5* Taipei Garden or similar class.

Day 8: Taipei - Singapore     (BREAKFAST/MEAL ON BOARD)

After breakfast, you may do your last minute shopping before your flight back to Singapore. We hope you have had an enjoyable time with Nam Ho.
