Day 01: Singapore - TPE - Chiufen - XiMenTing    (MEAL ON BOARD)

Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport. Your vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to Taipei, capital city of Taiwan. Upon arrival at Tao Yuan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide. For a start,  proceed to visit Chiufen, the filming site of 'City of Sadness'. The traditional way of life still exists there, and is reminiscent with the aura of an old mining town. Don't miss the chance to try some famous local dish such as Taro and Sweet Potato Ball etc. *Lunch at own expense in Chiufen. After filling up your stomach, proceed to Xi Men Ting. This is the most popular shopping area among the young. If you are a food lover, don't miss the famous 'Ah Zhong' vermicelli around the corner.

Day 02: Taipei - Wulai Old St - Trail Train - Waterfall - National Centre for Traditional Arts - Tze Chiang Train - Hualien    (BREAKFAST/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to Wulai. Wulai is about 20 kilometres south of Taipei, a mountain village where the aboriginal people (Atayal tribe) are living. The air is fresh and cool there, even if it is a bit over-developed. Upon arrival, visit Wulai Old Street. Here, you can find traditional Aboriginal delicacies of the Atayal people such as bamboo rice, rice wine, and hotspring egg etc. Traditional Handicraft products of the aboriginal can also be found here for souvenir. Next, you can board the world's smallest fuel burning train - The trail train of Wulai. It is the most suitable mode of transport if you are to explore the Wulai waterfall which is two kilometres away. Enjoy your journey with the magnificant views of the trees, mountain and the stream of Wulai. Soon, approach Wulai Waterfall of about 80 metres in height. it is also called 'the waterfall of a white silk cloth'. Next, visit National Centre of Traditional Arts. The Folk Arts Park is a multi-functional park that helps promote traditional folk craftsmanship, arts, music, drama, and dance and is also a multi-functional, resting place for cultural and educational purposes. Lastly, take Tze Chiang Train to Hualien for accommodation.

Day 03: Hualien - Taroko Memorial Arch Building - Eternal Spring Shrine - Chi Shing Lake - Rei   
Suei Leisure Farm - Taitung - Chihpen   (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to Taroko Gorge where torrents of river waters cut through the marble and granite over the years, creating a beautiful, narrow ravine with waterfalls, complete with a misty mountain top. With subtropical forests surrounding the gorge, there are several notable scenic spots to admire. Proceed to Taroko Memorial Arch Building which was architecturally designed in ancient Chinese style. Next, visit Eternal Spring Shrine that is situated in the valley. It offers a spectacular view of the whole Taroko Gorge. Later, make a short stop at the Linzi & Tea Centre. In the afternoon, visit Chi Shing Lake. Chi Shing Lake is actually a sea. Unlike the usual seaside, the beach area does not have sands but are made out of all kind of tiny stones. You may rest on the stones beaches while enjoying the scenery. Next, arrive at Rei Suei Leisure Farm. With beautiful scenery, clear water, fresh air, and rolling grasslands, these districts are suitable for development of stockbreeding. In the evening, arrive at Chihpen Hot Spring. Revitalise your body and soul with a dip at the rustic yet refined hot springs. *Please remember to being swimming suit & cap Accommodation: 4* Chihpen Toyugi Hotspring Resort or similar.

Day 04: Chihpen - Kaohsiung - Fo Guang Shan - Mei Non Hakka Village - Cijin Ferry Station - Cijin Seafood Street - Dream Shopping Mall    (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
After breakfast, proceed to Fo Guang Shan, the centre of Buddhism in southern Taiwan. Hundreds of glided Buddha images stand in line, forming one of the most marvellous attractions in the monastery. After which, we will proceed to Mei Non Hakka Village. You will have the chance to see traditional Hakka Handicrafts, such as hand-made umbrella, etc. You can also pay to taste some Hakka traditional food, such as Ban Tiao, Ice block and Le Tea. In the afternoon, proceed to Cijin Ferry Station where the ferries sail to and fro Gushan. The ferry route features a great view of Kaohsiung Port where the famous Tuntex & Chien-Tai Tower marks the beautiful skyline. Then we will proceed to Cijin Seafood Street where you can try the different types of seafood dishes. Lastly, proceed to Dream Shopping Mall. It is a shoppers' delight as it is Asia's biggest shopping mall. Apart from exquisite shopping, you can enjoy open-air performances. It is definitely an experience similar to New York's Fifth Avenue. You can also go on board the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel (at own expense) for an interesting ride.

Day 05: Kaohsiung - Cruise on Sun Moon Lake - The Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village - Fong Jia Night Market Taichung    (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
In the morning, visit the largest lake in Taiwan - Sun Moon Lake. The island has a northern part that looks like a sun, and a Southern part that looks like a moon. The tranquil lakes bounce light off its water, offering poetic and picturesque sceneries all year round. You will also get to enjoy taking a short cruise around the lake (Subject to weather conditions) Next, visit the nearby Wen Wu Temple. This is the temple to enshrine and worship Confucius, Guan Gong and Yue Fei. In the afternoon, visit the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. Sited adjacent to the Sun Moon Lake, and spread over an expanse of some 62 hectares land, this park offers a variety of activities for sightseeing, recreation, vacation, cultural exchanges and educational purposes. Outside the park, you can enjoy cultural dances, performances & song presentations at different theatres. In the evening, visit Fong Jia Night Market. This is the Night market which is located near the Feng Chia University. The low-priced clothes are not the only attractive part of this market, the wide range of local food around is also a plus point. Here you could try some traditional food for dinner at your own expenses.

Day 06: Taichung - National Palace Museum - 101 Shopping Mall - Wu Fen Pu - Shihlin Market (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast, proceed to National Palace Museum, with the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, spanning nearly 5,000 years of Chinese history. Next, visit the Handicraft center. In the afternoon, arrive at Taipei 101, one of Taipei's tallest skyscrapper for more shopping and dinning. (Observatory at own expense) After which, we will proceed to Wu Fen Pu for ready-made Clothes Plaza. This is a wholesale area for various cheap ready-made clothes. In the evening, visit Shihlin Night Market, a great place to hunt for local handicrafts, clothes, tasty local snacks and souvenirs.

Day 07: Taipei - Singapore     (BREAKFAST)
After breakfast, you may do your last minute shopping / sightseeing before your flight  back to Singapore. Hope you have had an enjoyable time with Nam Ho.
