Meet on arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport. Transfer for city tour which includes “Quan Thanh Pagoda” on the shores of Truc Bach lake. This pagoda dates back from the 11th century and is said to protect this region from foreign invaders. Continue to visit the “Temple of Literature” which is regarded as the first university in Vietnam. Next, drive through Hanoi’s Old Quarter before embarking for the unique and famous traditional performance – “Water Puppet Show” and then, proceed for dinner at a local restaurant.

After an early breakfast, transfer by coach to “Halong Bay”. ‘Halong’ is literally translated as “Bay of Descending Dragons”. It is one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders and was recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2000. With an approximately of 1,960 islets, most of which were limestone formation. The limestone at the bay has gone through 500 million years of formation undergoing different conditions and environments. Upon arrival, be welcomed with drinks on board the luxurious deluxe junk cruise. For lunch, freshly caught seafood will be served on board. Enjoy your journey while cruising around the bay to see amazing limestone karsts with different world formations like, “Dau Nguoi” (Human Head) islets. Thereafter, enjoy a wonderful sunset dinner. Stay overnight on the junk cruise.

Early risers can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee for breakfast with clear morning view of the bay’s beautiful landscape. One could also take a walk around the deck to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the rocky islands partially submerged in the crystal clear water of the marvellous bay. After breakfast, explore the “Sung Sot Cave” (8.00 to 9.00), swim and relax at Soi Sim Beach. At 9.30, boat will start to cruise back to the jetty while lunch will be served from 10.30 to 11.30. We will then continue cruising along the bay with more fascinating formations that can be seen. Checkout at 11.45 on board and continue our journey back to Hanoi. Overnight in a hotel. Rest of the day will be free at own leisure.

Continue your tour to “Hoa Lu” –Ancient Capital of Vietnam. It is also known as “Halong Bay on land” as its towering limestone cliffs and mountains submerged above the green, lush paddy field instead of submerging above the blue water which was an uncommon sight. Next, visit “Dinh & Le Kings Temples” which were built in the 11th century. Climb up 200 steps to the top of the “Ma Yen Mount” for a fantastic view across the surrounding scenery. Afterwhich, take a sampan ride along the quiet and peaceful landscape to the grottoes of the sacred “Tam Coc Caves”. Lastly, visit “Bich Dong Caves Pagoda”. At noon, return back to Hanoi

After breakfast, free at own leisure until time for transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your pleasant flight back to Singapore.
